Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha has declared the Plus Two (Class 12) examination results for 2026. The overall pass percentage this year stands at 85.85 per cent.
School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond formally announced the results for all four streams — Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational — at the CHSE office in Bhubaneswar.
According to the official data released by CHSE, the Science stream recorded the highest pass percentage at 88.80 per cent, followed by Commerce at 88.07 per cent. The pass percentage in the Arts stream stood at 84.50 per cent, while the Vocational Education stream recorded 77.62 per cent.
In all the streams, girls have significantly outperformed boys.
This year, around 4.01 lakh students had registered for the examinations across all streams. Of them, nearly 3.96 lakh students actually appeared for the exams, which were conducted between February 18 and March 27, 2026.
In the Arts stream, the highest number of 2,47,391 students appeared, followed by 1,14,980 students in Science, 25,526 students in Commerce, and 5,721 students in the Vocational stream.
Students can check their results online from 3:00 pm onwards on the official websites: chseodisha.nic.in and results.odisha.gov.in. Besides, digital marksheets will also be available for download through the DigiLocker platform.
