Bhubaneswar: The Eighth Central Pay Commission will hold consultations in Bhubaneswar on July 6 and 7, 2026, as part of its nationwide stakeholder engagement drive.
The Commission is visiting the state capital to interact directly with Central Government employees, their associations, unions, and other concerned stakeholders. This comes amid a series of back-to-back state visits aimed at accelerating the consultation process for revising pay scales and allowances.
In an official communication, the Commission invited interested organizations, institutions, and employee associations to submit requests for appointments. Those desirous of presenting their views must apply through the link https://nicforms.nic.in/enRhYmxlNmExMDEwOWIyOGOzYTIwMjYwNTIyMTEz on or before June 15, 2026, along with the unique Memo ID generated after submitting their memorandum.
The venue details and the final meeting schedule will be shared with confirmed participants in due course.
Memorandum Submission Deadline: All stakeholders have been advised to submit their detailed memoranda through the Commission’s official website — https://8cpc.gov.in — by May 31, 2026.
The Commission has also indicated that similar meetings will be held in other States and Union Territories in the coming weeks as it intensifies its outreach.
This visit to Odisha is being seen as an important step in the Commission’s exercise, which is expected to have a significant bearing on the pay structure, dearness allowance, and service conditions of lakhs of Central Government employees across the country.
