Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar has issued a Yellow Nowcast Warning for several coastal and central districts of Odisha.
Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rain, and gusty winds reaching 30-40 kmph is very likely to occur at one or two places over Kendrapada, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Nayagarh, Khordha (including Bhubaneswar city), and Jagatsinghpur districts during the next three hours.
People in these areas have been advised to remain alert, keep a close watch on the changing weather, and stay ready to move to safer locations in case of worsening conditions to protect themselves from thunderstorm and lightning strikes.
