Bhubaneswar: A youth has gone missing after he accidentally slipped and fell into the Brahmani River from a railway bridge while shooting a reel video.
The missing youth has been identified as Shubhranshu Pradhan, a resident of Bilinda village under Samal police station limits.
According to reports, Shubhranshu had gone to the railway bridge over the Brahmani River along with two of his friends to shoot a reel video on Sunday evening. While filming, he suddenly lost his balance, slipped, and fell into the river below. His friends immediately raised an alarm and informed local residents.
Upon receiving information, the Kaniha Fire Station and Samal Police personnel rushed to the spot and launched a search and rescue operation. Despite several hours of continuous searching by the rescue teams, no trace of Shubhranshu has been found so far.
The search operation is still underway. Police and fire service personnel are continuing their efforts to locate the missing youth. Further details are awaited.
