Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre of Bhubaneswar has issued a nowcast warning for Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, predicting rain and thunderstorms in the twin cities over the next few hours.
According to the bulletin issued at 1:45 pm today, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning is very likely to occur at a few places over Bhubaneswar and Cuttack during the next 3 hours.
The IMD has advised people to keep a watch on changing weather conditions and plan accordingly for their safety.
The warning comes amid ongoing spells of heavy rainfall in several parts of Odisha, which have already led to waterlogging and disruption in some low-lying areas.
