Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet on Saturday approved 11 proposals spanning six departments during its 45th meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan.
Following the meeting, Chief Secretary Anu Garg briefed the media on the decisions taken by the Cabinet.
The approved proposals covered a wide range of governance and development issues. Of the 11 proposals, five were related to the Water Resources Department, accounting for the largest share of the Cabinet’s agenda. Two proposals were cleared for the Housing and Urban Development Department.
The Cabinet also approved one proposal each from the Finance Department, the Law Department, the Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department, and the Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department.
In all, the Cabinet considered and approved 11 proposals from six departments during the meeting. Detailed decisions on the approved proposals are expected to be released separately by the respective departments.
