Puri: A man died after allegedly falling from the balcony of a 7-storey hotel under Baliapanda Police Station limits in Puri late last night.
The deceased has been identified as Arjun Kishan, a driver working with a group of employees from a private company in Sundargarh. The incident took place at Hotel Krishna Sea Side Inn in the Baliapanda area.
According to police, Arjun Kishan fell from the balcony on the 7th floor of the hotel. The body was found in the morning. Following information from the hotel staff, Baliapanda Police reached the spot and launched an investigation.
Police said a post-mortem is being conducted to ascertain the exact cause of death. All employees who had come with the deceased are also being questioned.
Further investigation into the circumstances leading to the fall is underway.
