Bhubaneswar: The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the transfer of two judges of the Orissa High Court as part of its latest exercise to reshuffle judges across various High Courts.
According to a statement issued by the Supreme Court, the Collegium, at its meeting held on August 6, 2026, recommended the transfer of Justice Manash Ranjan Pathak and Justice Krushna Ram Mohapatra.
Justice Manash Ranjan Pathak, who is currently serving in the Orissa High Court, has been recommended for transfer to the Gujarat High Court. His parent High Court (PHC) is the Gauhati High Court.
Justice Krushna Ram Mohapatra, also serving in the Orissa High Court, has been recommended for transfer to the Chhattisgarh High Court.
The recommendations are part of the Collegium’s latest exercise concerning the transfer of judges between High Courts.
The Collegium’s recommendations will now go through the prescribed process before the transfers are formally notified.
