Bhubaneswar: Four school students and two teachers from Odisha participated in a special Raksha Bandhan programme organised at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
The students representing Odisha were Santoshi Mandal, a Class 8 student, and Subhasai Ranjita Pattanaik, a Class 7 student, both from Government High School, Unit-6; Bibhu Prasad Sahu, a Class 10 student of PM SHRI Government High School, IRC Village; and Ronak Tripathy, a Class 7 student of Raj Bhavan Government UP School.
Two teachers from the state also participated in the programme. They were Rupali Senapati, Headmistress of Government High School, Unit-6, and Tofan Kumar Rautray, Assistant Teacher of PM SHRI Government High School, IRC Village.
The participation of the Odisha students and teachers in the special programme at Rashtrapati Bhavan marked a significant occasion for the state’s school education community as they joined the Raksha Bandhan celebrations at the national level.
