Bhubaneswar: BJD president and Leader of Opposition in the Odisha Legislative Assembly Naveen Patnaik will embark on a seven-day visit to New Delhi on Tuesday, with sources saying the former chief minister is travelling to the national capital for personal work.
Patnaik is scheduled to leave Bhubaneswar at around 1 pm and will remain in Delhi for a week, according to reports.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is also scheduled to visit New Delhi on Tuesday. Majhi is expected to leave Bhubaneswar at around 3:30 pm.
During his Delhi visit, the chief minister is scheduled to attend an important meeting with the Ministry of Jal Shakti. The meeting is expected to focus on matters related to the state’s water resources and other issues concerning the ministry.
