Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has reached Dubai late on Wednesday night.
He was warmly welcomed by members of the business community and the Odia diaspora residing in the UAE on reaching Dubai.
The Chief Minister will begin a series of high-level investor and business engagements there today, showcasing Odisha’s investment opportunities and strengthening ties with UAE-based businesses.
On Wednesday, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Government of Odisha and IBPG to promote bilateral trade and explore investment opportunities in Odisha. The engagement also explored opportunities for increasing exports of Odisha’s products, including spices such as turmeric and ginger, seafood and other products, while encouraging contract manufacturing for leading UAE brands and facilitating opportunities for highly skilled manpower.
