Bhubaneswar: In view of the low pressure area over North Bay of Bengal, the India Meteorological Department has issued wind warning for the next 48 hours.
According to the IMD, squally winds speed reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph is very likely over North Bay of Bengal and Central Bay of Bengal and along and off Bangladesh-West Bengal-Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coasts during next 48 hours. Additionally, rough to very rough sea conditions are likely to prevail over North Bay of Bengal and Central Bay of Bengal during next 48 hours.
Keeping the adverse weather conditions in mind, the IMD has advised fishermen not to venture over the North Bay of Bengal and Central Bay of Bengal, along and off Bangladesh, West Bengal, Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh coasts during the next 48 hours.
