Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister of Odisha Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed immense pride over NIT Rourkela’s indigenous chip designs being featured among the Made-in-India semiconductor chips showcased at SEMICON India.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister described it as a moment of great pride for every Odia and a testament to the talent, innovation and research capabilities of the state’s institutions.
Highlighting the progress of India’s semiconductor sector, the Chief Minister said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the dedicated efforts of Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, the country is steadily advancing towards a strong and self-reliant semiconductor ecosystem.
He congratulated the scientists, researchers and the entire NIT Rourkela team for their achievement.
The Chief Minister added that Odisha is proud to see its talent contributing to India’s semiconductor journey and the nation’s march towards technological self-reliance.
