Bhubaneswar: Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond has said the government is taking steps to ensure that textbooks supplied to students are free of errors, with proofreading of the books currently underway.
Gond said checks are being conducted at different stages of the textbook preparation process, including proofreading, to identify and rectify errors before the books reach students.
The government is keeping a close watch on the process and making arrangements to provide corrected and error-free textbooks at the earliest, he said.
