Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari and Special Relief Commissioner Rajesh Prabhakar Patil will undertake an aerial survey on Sunday of areas affected by heavy rainfall and flooding in Ganjam, Koraput and Nabarangpur districts, an official release said.
The team will review the flood situation at Kotpad in Koraput district and later hold discussions with senior officials at Jeypore to assess the prevailing situation and response measures, it said.
The state government has said it is taking all possible measures to ensure necessary services, assistance and relief reach people affected by the heavy rain and flooding.
