Bhubaneswar: The body of a youth who had gone missing after drowning in the Taladanda canal in Kataka district since yesterday has been recovered.
The deceased has been identified as Aditya Narayan Panda.
According to reports, Aditya was swept away while bathing in the canal along with a friend. After getting information, the fire services personnel launched a search operation. The search operation was suspended due to darkness yesterday and it was resumed again this morning. After a prolonged search, the fire services team finally managed to recover the body of the youth.
The deceased Aditya is said to be 18 years old.
