Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre has issued a nowcast warning for 21 districts of Odisha.
According to the nowcast warning issued at 2:15 pm, light to moderate rain, along with thunder and lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsingpur, Puri, Nayagada, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkanagiri, Khandamal, Jajpur, Kataka (including Kataka City), Khordha (including Bhubaneswar City), Mayurbhanj, Kendujhar, Anugola, Dhenkanal, Sundergada and Sambalpur during next three hours.
People are advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan accordingly for their safety. People are advised to move to safe places and avoid staying in open areas, under trees and near water bodies during thunderstorm activity.
