Jaypore: As part of Special Campaign 6.0, Rail Jan Samvaad programmes were conducted at various locations across Rayagada Division to strengthen passenger interaction, understand passenger-related difficulties and obtain valuable feedback and suggestions for improving railway services.
During the programmes, passengers, particularly young passengers, were interacted with to understand the challenges faced by them during their railway journeys. Feedback forms were distributed to collect their suggestions and opinions, enabling railway officials to gain insights into passenger concerns and expectations.
The programmes also focused on creating awareness among passengers and the general public about the importance of maintaining cleanliness in railway premises and trains. Passengers were sensitised to proper waste segregation, responsible waste disposal and their role in ensuring a clean, hygienic and pleasant railway environment.
The programmes at Rayagada, Koraput, Jagdalpur and Araku were led by Chief Medical Superintendent of Rayagada Division Dr Sanjib Kumar Sahoo. Assistant Divisional Mechanical Engineer/Koraput Shri Ramesh Babu Potluri and the respective Chief Health Inspectors (CHIs) coordinated the activities and interacted with passengers to promote cleanliness awareness and encourage public participation.
Through these initiatives, Rayagada Division reaffirmed its commitment to passenger engagement, responsive service delivery and the promotion of cleanliness as an integral part of railway operations. The division continues to encourage passengers to share their feedback and actively participate in maintaining clean and hygienic railway stations and trains.
