Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning and thunder at isolated places in 16 districts of Odisha over the next three hours.
The nowcast warning, issued by the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, at 10 pm on Monday, covers Puri, Jagatsingpur, Bhadrak, Baleshwar, Khordha, Kataka, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Koraput, Malkangiri and Kendrapada districts.
The warning also includes Bhubaneswar and Kataka cities.
The weather office has advised people to remain alert for any deterioration in weather conditions and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.
