Kataka: The Kataka district administration on Thursday raided an illegal crackers godown in Tigiria village under Tigiria police station limits and seized firecrackers worth around Rs 20-25 lakh.
One person has been arrested in connection with the case. The seized crackers were later buried in a pit dug in the Tigiria Baramana forest, officials said.
The local tehsildar informed that the administration will continue raids on illegal cracker godowns in the area till the upcoming Kali Puja.
