Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education Department of Odisha government has issued the dateline for submission and validation of fresh scholarship applications under the Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana for the academic year 2026-27. This is the second phase for fresh students.
According to the notification, eligible students can submit their online applications for five different scholarship schemes between November 5 and November 20, 2026.
The application window is open for e-Medhabruti UG Merit, e-Medhabruti PG Merit, e-Medhabruti Technical and Professional Merit, Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti Scheme and Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana.
The students can apply through the Odisha State Scholarship Portal (OSSP) at https://scholarship.odisha.gov.in. For validation, the Heads of Institutes and Principals concerned have been asked to complete the verification of fresh applications by November 30, 2026. However, for the Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana, the validation will continue up to December 15, 2026 at the DWO and OSACS level.
