Bhubaneswar: A total of 48 Web Channels in Odisha have been empanelled with the State government, informed Minister of Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Pradip Kumar Amat.
Amat made the statement in the State Assembly in a written reply to a query from BJD MLA from Phulbani Angad Kanhar today.
The Minister told that the State government has implemented a Web Media Policy for the empanelment of Web Channels.
The 48 Web Channels have been empanelled under the Web Media Policy, he added.
Amat further informed that those newspapers which have I& PR approval and have started Web Channels can be also empanelled under the aforementioned policy.
