Bhubaneswar: The Election Commission of India (ECI) today announced dates for holding of Assembly elections in states of Nagaland, Meghalaya and Tripura.
While polling in Tripura will be held on February 16, Meghalaya and Nagaland will go to polls on February 27. Results will be announced on March 2.
The term of the three Assemblies is ending on different dates in March. While the five-year term of the present Nagaland Assembly expires on March 12, the term of the Meghalaya Assembly and the Tripura Assembly will end on March 15 and March 22, respectively.
