New Delhi: BJP leaders, chief ministers, former armed forces personnel and party workers across the country on Sunday tuned in to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 136th edition of his monthly radio programme, ‘Mann Ki Baat’.

In Patna, BJP National President Nitin Nabin listened to Prime Minister Modi’s 136th episode of Mann Ki Baat along with party leaders and workers.

In Lucknow, a large gathering, including former Army officers and retired soldiers, listened to the programme during an event organised to mark Kargil Vijay Diwas.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also joined people at the Pratap Nagar Community Centre, where he listened to the Prime Minister’s monthly address.

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary also listened to the Prime Minister’s programme in Patna.

In Pune, Union Minister of State Murlidhar Mohol attended a public listening programme for the 136th episode of Mann Ki Baat.

Meanwhile, Haryana Cabinet Minister Anil Vij visited the Jain Soda Water factory in Ambala Cantonment, where he joined BJP workers to listen to the Prime Minister’s address.

During the programme, Prime Minister Modi highlighted environmental sustainability and urged citizens to tackle the growing challenge of plastic pollution through innovative recycling initiatives.

Speaking about an example from Bihar, the Prime Minister said, “My dear fellow countrymen, we all know that plastic pollution has become a major environmental challenge across the world today. Single-use plastic waste continues to harm nature for many years, which is why its proper disposal is extremely important. An excellent example of ‘Waste to Wealth’ has emerged from Sitamarhi, Bihar. Here, recycled plastic waste is being used to manufacture attractive benches. Around 40 kilograms of single-use plastic are used to make one bench…”

The Prime Minister said such initiatives demonstrate how waste can be transformed into useful public infrastructure while contributing to environmental conservation.

The monthly Mann Ki Baat programme continues to serve as a platform to highlight inspiring stories, community-driven innovations and national campaigns, with BJP leaders and supporters across the country participating in collective listening events for the Prime Minister’s address.
