Delhi BJP Chief, Party Colleagues Tune In To ‘Mann Ki Baat’ At 4,562 Locations

New Delhi: Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Sunday led party colleagues in tuning into Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio show “Mann Ki Baat” at 4,562 locations across all 254 mandals, a party leader said.

Sachdeva reiterated that “Mann Ki Baat” has always been a platform for learning. This time too, the 133rd edition of the radio programme emphasised the importance of wind and solar energy and highlighted the addition of 6 gigawatts of wind energy capacity in the past year.

The Prime Minister also discussed the teachings of Gautama Buddha, emphasising that peace begins within and that self-conquest is the greatest victory, he said.

Sachdeva listened to the the programme along with former Union Minister Harsh Vardhan, MLA Anil Goyal and Shahdara District President Deepak Gaba.

After listening to the programme, BJP National Vice President Baijayant Jay Panda said that a large number of mothers and sisters were present, which is a strong example of women’s empowerment.

He added that such a historic programme has never been seen before, and even after 133 episodes, people remain eager to listen to it every month.

The Prime Minister shares valuable insights in every episode that enhance knowledge and provide important lessons for all, he said.

Panda, along with MP Bansuri Swaraj and NDMC Vice Chairman Kuljeet Singh Chahal, listened to the programme with around 400 distinguished women of Delhi at Atal Adarsh School on Tilak Marg.

BJP National General Secretary Dushyant Gautam listened to the programme with workers of Rajgarh Samiti 90 in Gandhi Nagar, East Delhi.

MP Manoj Tiwari, returning from election campaigning in West Bengal, listened to the programme in the lounge at Delhi airport along with senior colleagues and airport staff.

Delhi MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat listened to the programme with local citizens in Amberhai village, Dwarka; MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri listened to it with Municipal Councillor Rajpal Singh and local residents in Srinivaspuri ward; MP Praveen Khandelwal listened to it on the Delhi–Jaipur Highway; BJP General Secretary Vishnu Mittal listened to it with dignitaries at a “Vaishyakul” meeting; and Public Accounts Committee Chairman and MLA Ajay Mahawar listened to the programme in Ghonda.
