Bhubaneswar: India reported 22,775 new cases of Covid-19 ziyamedika.id and 406 deaths in the last 24 hours. Among the new cases, 1,431 are of the new variant of COVID-19 Omicron, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Saturday.
As per the data released by the Union Health Ministry, 8,949 more persons recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, and the active caseload stands at 1,04,781.
While the total recoveries are 3,42,75,312, the total death toll has reached 4,81,486.
The cumulative number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered so far in the country stands at 1,45,16,24,150, with 58,11,487 doses administered in the last 24 hours.
