Bhubaneswar: India registered 2,58,089 fresh Covid cases and 385 deaths in the last 24 hours, said the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Monday.
Among the new cases, 8,209 are cases of Omicron. With the addition of the new deaths, the toll has reached 4,86,451.
The recovery of 1,51,740 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,52,37,461. India’s active caseload is presently at 16,56,341.
With the administration of 39,46,348 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid inoculation coverage has reached 1,57,20,41,825 as of Monday morning.
