Bhubaneswar: India registered 2,64,202 fresh Covid cases and 315 deaths in the last 24 hours, said the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Friday.
Among the new cases, 5,753 are cases of Omicron. With the addition of the new deaths, the toll has reached 4,85,350.
The recovery of 1,09,345 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,48,24,706. India’s active caseload is presently at 12,72,073, with the Daily Positivity rate at 14.78%.
With the administration of 73,08,669 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid inoculation coverage has reached 1,55,39,81,819 as of Friday morning.
