Bhubaneswar: India registered 2,68,833 fresh Covid cases and 402 deaths in the last 24 hours, said the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Saturday.
Among the new cases, 6,041 are cases of Omicron. With the addition of the new deaths, the toll has reached 4,85,752.
The recovery of 1,22,684 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,49,47,390. India’s active caseload is presently at 14,17,820, with the Daily Positivity rate at 16.66%.
With the administration of 58,02,976 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid inoculation coverage has reached 1,56,02,51,117 as of Saturday morning.
