PM Modi Vows Special Probe To Identify Those Facilitating Illegal Infiltrators In Bengal

Kolkata: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) comes to power in West Bengal after the forthcoming Assembly elections in the state next month, there will be a special probe to identify those who had been facilitating illegal infiltrators to enter the state and settle here.

“I promise the residents of Bengal that once the BJP government is formed in the state, there will be a special investigation into the infiltration issue. We will investigate and identify those who supported and facilitated the infiltration. No one will be spared. In addition, we will also drive the infiltrators out of Bengal,” the Prime Minister said while addressing a campaign rally at Suri in Birbhum district of West Bengal.

This was the third campaign rally that the Prime Minister addressed on Thursday, the first two being at Haldia in East Midnapore district and the other being at Asansol in West Burdwan district.

Speaking on the occasion, he also said that the crude bomb factories are synonymous with cottage industries in West Bengal now, during the Trinamool Congress regime.

“Trinamool Congress is building crude bomb factories in every corner of the state. The Trinamool Congress government has turned this into a cottage industry. The real small industrial units have closed in the state, and they have been replaced by crude bomb factories. However, this is my guarantee that all these bomb factories would be closed down once the BJP comes to power in West Bengal,” the Prime Minister said.

Claiming that the state-run schools in West Bengal had closed down one after another during the current regime, the Prime Minister said that this is being done deliberately since the ruling party in the state does not want youths to get educated.

“Closing down schools means a dark future for the next generation. I am sure that the young generation will free West Bengal of this anarchy this time,” the Prime Minister said.

He also said that the arrogance of Trinamool Congress is evident from the recent event where even President Droupadi Murmu was insulted in the state.

“This is their level of arrogance, and that the state government does not even show respect to the President of the country,” the Prime Minister added.
