Guna: Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Monday inaugurated two development projects worth around Rs 5 crore in Madhya Pradesh’s Pichhore, including a primary health centre and an electricity substation, and highlighted the 100-bed hospital under construction in the area.

Scindia, who is also the local Lok Sabha MP from Guna, under which Pichhore comes, inaugurated the Ayushman Arogya Mandir at Achhrauni and the 33/11 kV electricity substation at Chamraua in Shivpuri district.

“The basic objective of the BJP government is to take development facilities to the last person in society. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, unprecedented work is being done in health, electricity, roads, education and other basic facilities,” Scindia said.

The Ayushman Arogya Mandir has been constructed at a cost of around Rs 3 crore and is expected to provide primary healthcare services to people in Achhrauni and nearby rural areas.

The Chamraua power substation has been built at an estimated cost of around Rs 2 crore and is expected to directly benefit around 20,000 to 25,000 people in the surrounding areas.

The new substation is expected to improve the reliability of electricity supply and benefit households, farmers and traders in the region.

Scindia also referred to the 100-bed hospital currently under construction in Pichhore and said continuous efforts were being made to strengthen healthcare facilities in the constituency.

“We are continuously working to provide better healthcare facilities. In the coming period too, Pichhore Assembly constituency will receive new development projects and the region will continue to move towards progress and prosperity,” Scindia said.

The two projects are part of development works being undertaken in the constituency to strengthen basic public infrastructure and improve services for people in rural areas.

Scindia said the government was working with the spirit of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas’ to improve the lives of villagers, farmers, the poor and ordinary citizens.
