1 Dead, Over 40 Injured As Bus Plunges 10 Ft Down In Sundargarh

Sundargarh: One person was killed, and over 40 others were injured, six of them seriously, when a private bus skidded off the road and plunged 10 feet down on the Telendihi-Tangarmunda road on Thursday.

The accident occurred after the bus driver lost control of the vehicle upon colliding head-on with a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction.

Locals and police rushed to the scene and rescued the injured, who were then taken to the district headquarters hospital. Fire Service personnel are currently working to recover the body of the deceased.
