Bhubaneswar: As many as 10 passengers sustained injuries when the bus they were travelling in hit a trailer from the rear near Bhanapur on National Highway NH-16, on Saturday.
The incident occurred when the Cuttack-bound bus Kunal was on its way to Bhubaneswar from Sundargarh.
According to sources, the bus hit the trailer from the rear which led to injuries of 10 persons. Upon being informed, police and rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to SCB Medical College and Hospital.
Meanwhile, police have seized the bus and launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
The injured are undergoing treatment, and their condition is stable.
