12 Odisha Districts Likely To be Affected By Dense Fog Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted dense fog warning for 12 districts on February 6.

According to the IMD’s forecast, the districts that are likely to be affected by dense fog are Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Ganjam, Keonjhar, Nayagarh and Angul.

Besides, the regional weather office has forecasted shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur during early morning hours at a few places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Ganjam, Keonjhar, Nayagarh, Angul and at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Kalahandi, Nayagarh and Angul.

“Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Khurda, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal”, read the IMD prediction for January 7.

Besides, the IMD has predicted dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Khurda, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Nayagarh and Ganjam on February 8.

The IMD has advised commuters to exercise caution while travelling, especially during the early morning hours, due to the reduced visibility caused by the dense fog.

Meanwhile, the weather office has predicted dry weather to persist in the state till February 15.
