Bhadrak: The Bhadrak district administration has ordered the closure of 131 schools in four blocks today in view of the ongoing flood situation and restoration work.
According to the order issued by the Collector and District Magistrate, schools in Dhamnagar, Chandbali, Bhadrak and Tihidi blocks will remain closed. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure keeping the safety and well-being of students in mind.

District authorities have also directed school headmasters to thoroughly sanitise drinking water sources in schools before resuming classes once the situation normalises.
