14 Cattle Heads Killed In Lightning Strike In Nayagarh

Nayagarh: In a tragic incident, 14 cattle heads were killed in a lightning strike on Thursday afternoon near the sugar factory at Panipoila in Nayagarh district. Luckily, the cowherd had a narrow escape.

According to reports, the cow herd had taken the cattle heads for grazing in the morning.

As it started to rain accompanied by lightning the cow herd took shelter in a nearby house and thus saved his life.

However, the cattle heads which were grazing in the field were struck by lightning killing them instantaneously.
