14 Ex-MLAs Yet To Vacate Govt Quarters: Odisha CM

Bhubaneswar: As many as 14 former MLAs have not vacated government quarters, informed Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi in the Odisha Assembly on Monday.

In a written reply to a query by BJP MLA from Balasore Manas Kumar Dutta, Chief Minister Majhi has said that while former MLAs Amar Prasad Satpathy, Mahesh Sahoo, Manjula Swain, Pradipta Kumar Naik, Ramesh Chandra Sai, Saluga Pradhan, Shankar Oram, Pritiranjan Gharai,  Kishore Tarai, Subash Chandra Panigrahi, Alaka Mohanty and family of former MLA late Bedprakash Agrawal have occupied government quarters unauthorizedly, former MLAs Jayant Sarangi and Santosh Singh Saluja have prayed for retention of government quarters on health ground and the files are under process.
