2.64L Farmers Get Incentives Under Millet Mission Scheme In Odisha: Dy CM Singh Deo

Bhubaneswar: Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo informed the Assembly that over 2.64 lakh farmers received incentives under the Millet Mission scheme in 2024-25.

Singh Deo’s reply came in response to a query raised by MLA Sagar Charan Das.

On Millet Mission Scheme’s progress, the Minister stated that a total of 2,64, 604 farmers received incentives and 62,007 registered farmers sold Ragi in Mandis through M-PAS and 7,57,826 quintals of Ragi procured in KMS 2024-25.

Besides, Minister informed the House that one facilitating agency, comprising two block coordinators and 3-7 CRPs, was assigned per block in 177 programme blocks to aid implementation.
