Bolangir: Two people were killed after their motorbike skid off the road and plunged into a village pond in Kantabanji in Odisha’s Bolangir district on late Monday night.
According to reports, the accident took place near Bhoipada turning of National Highway 59 when the bike rider lost control of the wheel and the vehicle plunged into the pond.
The bodies of the two bike riders were seen floating in the pond on Tuesday morning. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
On being informed, Muribahal police reached the spot and started an investigation into this matter.
