Bhubaneswar: Two people were killed while two others sustained grievous injuries in a road accident on NH-59 near the Bangomunda block of Bolangir district’s Kantabanji on Monday morning.
According to reports, the fatal accident involved a collision between a truck and a Bolero. The Bolero was reportedly carrying four passengers, two of whom died on the spot. Two other passengers sustained severe injuries.
The deceased have been identified as Lingaraj Saraf and Kishore Das of Panharenmunda village. The injured were rushed to the Kantabanji Hospital by the Fire Services personnel.
The police have seized both the vehicles and have launched a probe into the incident.
