Electrocution In Bhadrak

Bhubaneswar: Two individuals were severely injured after being electrocuted in Nimapada village under Bonth police limits in Bhadrak district.

According to reports, the incident occurred while a driver and his helper were operating a paddy-cutting machine in the field. During the process, an 11KV electric supply line fell onto the field. Both the driver and helper attempted to climb up to the live wire, resulting in severe electrical burns.

Hearing their screams, nearby workers rushed to their aid. The two victims were immediately rescued and taken to Bonth Medical for initial treatment.

Given the critical nature of their injuries, they were later shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) for further medical care.

Following a tip-off, Bonth police reached the scene and began investigating.
