Bhubaneswar: The Vigilance sleuths unearthed 20 more plots in West Medinpur district, West Bengal in possession of Pravas Kumar Pradhan, the Chief Construction Engineer of Anandpur Barrage Project in Keonjhar.
The anti-graft agency, which earlier arrested Pradhan, had found 85 plots along with other disproportionate properties in the possession of the accused engineer. With fresh findings, the total number of plots of Pradhan rose to 105, vigilance said.
Pradhan was arrested for accumulating disproportionate assets to the tune of 245% of his known sources of income. He is now in Jail custody, vigilance informed.
Earlier, during the course of the investigation, Pradhan was found in possession of disproportionate assets including a five-storeyed building, a Market complex, 85 Plots, Gold approx 335 gms, Deposits of over Rs.78 Lakhs, Cash Rs.11.7 Lakhs etc, which he could not account for satisfactorily.
