20 Of A Marriage Party Injured In Bus Accident In Odisha’s Ganjam

Ganjam: At least 20 persons of a marriage party were injured in a bus accident at Taptapani Ghati in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Sunday morning.

The condition of seven is said to be critical and they have been admitted to Digapahandi Community Medical Center (CMC).

According to reports, the accident occurred near Palukhola village when the bridegroom was returning with the bride. As the bus was coming down the gorge near Palukhola, the brakes of the bus failed resulting in the bus crashing against a roadside rock.

On being informed, Asika SDPO reached the accident site with his force and rescued the passengers. The police have launched an investigation into the accident.
