Bhubaneswar: A total of 22 students, 17 in Rourkela and five in Keonjhar, fell ill during the Independence Day parade on Thursday.

In Rourkela, 17 students participating in the parade at Sector 22 complained of dizziness and were rushed to a local hospital. Parents alleged that the parade was held in the noon time despite hot and humid conditions. After treatment, all the students were discharged.
