Bhubaneswar: As many as 237 fresh Covid-19 positive cases were detected in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) limits in the last 24 hours.
According to the BMC, all new Covid-19 positives are local contact cases.
As many as 45 new cases were reported from Patia area while 25 cases were from Old Town area, 18 from Nayapalli area, 17 from Chandrasekharpur area and 15 each from Patrapada and Kalinga Nagar.
The city has 1340 active cases while 219 have recovered today.
Till July 22, Bhubaneswar has reported, 1,61,748 Covid cases out of which 1,59,194 persons have recovered while 1,193 persons have succumbed to the disease.
