Bhubaneswar: S Sushree, a 2018-batch IPS officer took charge as DCP Traffic of Bhubaneswar – Cuttack on Tuesday. Upon assumption of charge, Sushree said that she would coordinate with officials and personnel of her department and chalk out a strategy to improve the traffic situation of the Capital City.
“I am new to the city and Commissionerate of Police. I will discuss with our department personnel and work under the guidance of my seniors to make the traffic situation better in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack,” she said.
Speaking to reporters here today, Sushree sought cooperation from the media fraternity and general public for effective management of traffic in the State Capital. “I will get myself adapted to the Bhubaneswar – Cuttack and work towards making the Twin City traffic better.”
Sushree, a native of Kollam in Kerala was the youngest person to qualify the UPSC exam in 2018, at the age of 22. Prior to this posting, Sushree was posted as the SDPO, Kesinga.
