Bhubaneswar: The Boudh Model Police on Monday arrested three persons allegedly involved in smuggling ganja in the town and seized ganja worth over Rs 20 lakh.
The arrested persons have been identified as Jitendra Mahakul, Nilanchal Ghibila, and Duryodhan Bishi.
Acting on a tip-off, the Boudh Model Police conducted a raid near Badabankapada village and seized two quintals (200 kilograms) of ganja worth over Rs 20 lakh. The police also seized a car and a motorcycle used in the smuggling operation.
The three suspects will be presented in court today for further legal action.
