Cuttack: Three persons were injured after a group of miscreants attacked a man with swords at Sana Mundali village under Baranga police station limits in Cuttack district on Tuesday.
According to reports, Kahnu Dalai was eating ‘dahi bara’ near the village when six miscreants arrived on two motorcycles and suddenly attacked him with sharp weapons. He sustained serious injuries, reportedly in the abdomen.
A local dahi bara vendor and another man who rushed to rescue him were also injured in the attack.
The assailants fled the spot immediately after the incident. All three injured persons were initially taken to a nearby health facility and later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, for advanced treatment.
Following information, the Zone 4 ACP and Baranga police station IIC reached the spot and initiated an investigation.
