Bhubaneswar: Three persons were killed and one sustained critical injuries following a violent group clash over suspicion of black magic at Kharipalli village under Badagada police limits in Ganjam district on Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as Khadal Behera and his son Ratnakar Behera.
According to sources, a confrontation erupted between two groups in the village over allegations of black magic.
The clash resulted in the deaths of three persons, while Ramesh Behera from the opposing group was critically injured. He has been admitted to Dharakote Sub-Divisional Hospital (SDH) for treatment.
Upon being informed, the Badagada police IIC reached the spot and initiated an investigation.
