Bhubaneswar: Another three fatalities due to COVID-19 were confirmed in Odisha on Sunday, as per the Health and Family Welfare department’s data published today morning.
With this, the State’s COVID toll rose 8,484. As per reports, the three latest deaths were confirmed in Ganjam, Nayagarh and Sundergarh districts. In Ganjam, a 75-year-old woman, in Nayagarh, a 65-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man in Sundergarh have succumbed to the disease.
Apart from the Ganjam case, the woman in Nayagarh and man from Sundergarh had comorbidities alongwith COVID-19.
The Health Department stated the cases do not reflect deaths occurring on a particular day. “It gives details of past deaths for which the death audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to Covid-19,” the Department Tweeted.
